Curriculum

Pre-K, Elementary and Middle School curriculum:

Preschool thru 8th – Standard Publishing School Bible Curriculum for Bible classes in each grade and A Beka Book for all subjects.

High School curriculum is a combination of the following:

  • A Beka Book, Bob Jones University Press, Saxon Math, Associated Press (for Journalism), Peter Norton's Introduction to Computers (Comp. Sci.), Holt, Glencoe, Harcourt, Miller-Levine, McDougal Littell.

  • Required Reading List for Freshmen - "Call of the Wild", "Merchant of Venice" , "Never Cry Wolf ", "Things Fall Apart", "Time Machine", "Les Miserables", and "The Odyssey"
  • Required Reading List for Sophmores - "All Quiet on the Western Front"," A Separate Peace", "Farewell to Manzanar", "To Kill a Mockingbird", and "Lord of the Flies"
  • Required Reading List for Juniors - "The Scarlet Letter", "The Light in the Forest" , "The Water is Wide", and "Picture Bride"
  • Required Reading List for Seniors - "Beowulf ", "Canterbury Tales ", "Morte D'Arthur ", "Pilgrims Progress ", "Alice in Wonderland ", and "Gulliver's Travel"
  • High School class (all core classes are college preparatory and all core classes can become honors classes if student/parent desire):
